Small Groups

Monday: We played “Wh” Question Bingo. The children were split up into 3 groups of different “Wh” Questions. One group had “What”” questions, one group had “Who?” questions, and the last one had “Why?” questions. All of the children did a fabulous job!

Tuesday: The children got to look at and explore “I Spy” books. They also got magnifying glasses to use to find hidden items on the pages.

Wednesday: The children got to work with play dough. They created and manipulated their play dough to create their own masterpiece. There were snowmen, cats, and so much more!

Thursday: We worked with dominoes’. The children got a handful of dominoes’ and then they had to match their dominoes’ to the ones on the table. The children all took turns placing their tiles where they wanted them to go.

Friday: The children colored turkey’s for the door of our classroom.

Large Group

Monday: We danced and listened to the song “Clap Hands”. The song goes over some different actions for the children to do.

Tuesday: The children have really gotten into the song “Teasing Mr. Alligator”. There are 5 monkey’s and then an alligator who catches them. Now, we have a flannel board to go along with the song and the children absolutely love it!

Wednesday: Since it was raining all day we weren’t able to go outside so we spent some extra time watching some dance video’s on Gonoodle, that the children got to dance around too.

Thursday: We danced around to the song “Twist”. The children got to do some freestyle dancing but also learned how to do the twist.

Friday: The children learned how to dance to the song “Twist” so on Friday we danced to the song “Twisting and Turning”. The children remembered their twisting skills from the day before and used them again.
