Students answered the question, “Why should we study history?” They created their own quote after reading information from Ch. 1 in A History of US by Joy Hakim. They added some notes to their notebook to summarize Hakim’s answer.

Students are to create their own quote to answer the question, “Why is it important to study history?” They are to use the “Source, Comma, Quote” format to create their quote on page 6 in their notebook.
