Overview
Many people helped turn the discussion of slavery in the nation into a moral issue; was it right or wrong? They contributed to the debate through their thoughts and their actions. Two women who made significant contributions were Harriet Tubman and Harriet Beecher Stowe. Your task is to find out who these two women were, make a poster of significant facts, and write a comparison of their actions.
Steps
1. Download the template (form) for your poster. Choose to “open” the document using Microsoft Office- Word.” Add information by deleting the directions on each part of the page and supplying your information.
2. Access these two sites to read information about each woman.
3. Drag a picture of each woman into your Word document.
4. Record four significant facts about each woman.
5. Record at least a sentence comparing the two women.
6. Print your final copy.
