FR2 Learning Objectives
CH 3 (food and groceries)
I know vocabulary related to food and the names of different shops.
I understand the connection between vocabulary and grammatical points (partitives, pronouns, adjective agreement, verb conjugations) in order to create cohesive sentences.
I will be able to tell a recipe and talk about cultural differences in food between America and France/Canada.
CH 2 (holidays)
I know vocabulary related to holidays and preparation for the holidays.

Subject Pronouns
Je – I (jeuh) Nous – we (noo)
Tu – you (informal) Vous – you (formal), y’all (voo)
Il – he (eel) Ils – they (eel) group of guys, or mixed group
Elle – she (el) Elles – they (el) group of girls
On – we, they, the people
Plural of nouns:
Add “s” to majority of nouns to make them plural:
un garçon – deux garçons
une fille – trois filles
If a word ends with three vowels EAU or EU, then add an -X:
un bureau – deux bureaux
un tableau – trois tableaux
If a word ends with -AL, take off -al and add -AUX:
un journal – deux journaux
un animal – trois animaux
