Mark’s Classes

I teach a wide variety of classes, most of which are listed below.  Please click the appropriate link to find copies of assignments, notes and projects for each class.

Fall 2014 classes: Biology, Environmental Studies, Physics, Astronomy and Introductory Science Research.

Most classes have a syllabus posted on synergy.  Synergy will take over what this page was trying to do.  Please go there for the most current and relevant information regarding classes.

 

Animal Behavior (9-12, one semester, fall and/or spring)

Astronomy (9-12, usually taught in the fall, one semester)

Chemistry – Advanced (11-12, one or two semesters, must have completed Chemistry)

Chemistry – Applied (Semester 1)

Chemistry – Diff & Regular (10-12, full year course, meets the LPS graduation requirements for 5 hours of physical science with a chemistry focus).  Students can also register for “Regular” chemistry but will be in the same class as Diff chem, using the Diff book and following the Diff curriculum.

GeoScience (9th, one semester, usually taught in the fall)

Marine Biology (9-12, one semester, spring only)

Physical Science (9th, one semester, usually taught in the spring)

Physics – Advanced (11-12, whole year course, must have finished Physics)

Physics – Diff (Semester 1, Semester 2)

Science Research (Semester 1, Semester 2)
