Spanish 2

1) We did an activity –  “Cinco Palabras en un Minuto”  – to get ourselves back into Spanish and to review 4.1 vocabulary.

2) We took a quiz (will not count on Synergy) to see if we know the preterite/imperfect endings. Of course, those of us who do not know the forms will have to study more.

3) We learned how to use the imperfect and the preterite in the same sentence, in this case when talking about interruptions. Example: I was working when I heard a noise. The “was + doing” part is imperfect, the interruption (the”I heard” part) is the preterite. Yo trabajaba cuando oí un ruido. Another example: Mirábamos la televisión cuando Jorge llamó. (We were watching TV when Jorge called.)

4) We watched a videoclip in Spanish about Caperucita Roja – Little Red Riding Hood. We will be practicing when to use the preterite and the imperfect with fairy tales and legends.

5) La tarea – 1/2-sheet “El cuento de Caperucita Roja.” Circle the correct verb form in each sentence.

Español 3-4 Combinado

1) Hablamos de lo que hicimos en las vacaciones.

2) Hablamos de lo que vimos en el video sobre Andalucía.

3) Leímos la nota cultural sobre el flamenco clásico y el flamenco moderno, p. 344.

4) Vimos ejemplos de los 2 estilos.

5) Leímos por 25 minutos, la última vez porque ya termina marzo.

6) La tarea – Acts. 2, 3 y 4, pp. 354-355.

7) **¡Ven después de clases para hablar y ganar tus puntos!**
