1) ClassZone – ¡Avancemos! Level 2 – This is the ¡Avancemos 2! official website. Here you will find all types of practice to accompany each lesson of your book. You can also log into your online book with the link found at the lower left-hand part of the ClassZone screen.

2) ClassZone – ¡Avancemos! Level 3 – This is the ¡Avancemos 3! official website. Spanish 3-4 students will want to visit this website often! Remember that you can log into your online book with the link found at the lower left-hand part of the ClassZone screen.

3) Conjuguemos.com – This is a great site for practicing verb conjugations and vocabulary, whether you are in Spanish 1 or Spanish 5. You must go through the free registration process before you start (we do this in class), but if you need vocabulary or verb practice, this is the site for you. Take advantage of the specific vocabulary lists you can print for the ¡Avancemos! books.

4) Study Spanish This site has free online tutorials for pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, verbs, etc. The company also offers a “premium” level that you can purchase, but the free portions of each tutorial offer more than enough to keep you busy!

5) Quizlet-Avancemos 2 – This site is great for vocabulary practice and has many flashcard sets tailored to Avancemos 2 lessons. You can also play “Space Race,” a game that helps you to get faster and faster with vocabulary. You can also print flashcards from this site.

6) Quizlet-Avancemos 3 – This site is a great way to practice vocabulary for Avancemos 3 units. You can use the flashcard function, or play “Space Race,” a game that forces you produce vocabulary faster and faster. You can also print flashcards from this site.

7) Quia – This site has many games and activities to help you review vocabulary and grammar.  You can scroll through the list of the top 100 activities or enter specific information in the “Refine your search” box.

8) Spanish.about.com – This site has information about grammar concepts, vocabulary and culture. The best way to navigate here is to use the “Start Learning,” “Continue Learning” and “Culture” tabs.

9) LANIC – Latin American Network Information Center – This website is one of the largest guides for Latin American content on the Internet. Links are provided for individual countries, society and culture, recreation, and much more. Start with the “Countries” link.

10) LPS District World Language Web Site – This site has information about the Know Your Neighbor Study Tours and additional links that you might find useful.

11) Spanish Proficiency Exercises – This is a great site for listening practice. These video clips feature native speakers from throughout Latin America and Spain. First choose your level: Beginning, Intermediate A, etc. Then choose a topic. Notice how you can listen to your selection with a Spanish transcript [S], with an English transcript [E], or without a transcript [N]. Also, you can click on related vocabulary [V], related phrases [P] and related grammar [G].
