Spanish 2

1) I marked credit for the homework assignment – the “Ser + adjectives” worksheet.

**Put your sheet in the “Tarea aquí” box.**

2) We reviewed how to introduce a friend. Be sure you’re able to do this.

3) We went to the computer lab to familiarize ourselves with Internet Resources, specifically the ClassZone site that goes with our book.

**You must send me a session report. Here are the instructions:

The Internet Resources page has many links that will help you practice your Spanish skills and provide you with cultural information. Visit the following links and answer the questions.

1. Click on the Classzone.com link (¡Avancemos! 2). This will be one of your most valuable resources this year.

a. Start with the “@hometutor.” Enter your first and last name and choose a level. (Try B the first time). Click on “Lección Preliminar-Vocabulary-Práctica. Write in your answers and then press the Check Answer button. (Just do the first activity for now.) (Adding accents: see * below.)

b. Click on the “Gramática” section. Choose any two of Prácticas 1-4. Check your answers after each activity. (You can try each activity more than once.)

c. When you have finished at least 3 activities (from “a” and “b” above), click on the “Session Report” button and then the “Click Here to email this summary” button.Put in my email address (msanchez@lps.org) You can also use my address for the student email. Send the report to me by clicking the “Submit” button.

ACCENTS: Press the “option key” along with the “e” key, let up, and then press the vowel you want accented. 

 2. Go back to the main “Classzone.com” website and scroll down to the bottom left corner. Click on the “2010 Online Book.” Type in this information: username: vdosp, password: e8j2z. Notice that you have access to the Spanish 2 and also the Spanish 1 book, in case you want to review something.

3. Return to the “Internet Resources” page on my website. Click on the “StudySpanish.com” link.

a. Click on “Pronunciation – Spanish vowels.” How long does it take Spanish-speaking children to master spelling and why is this so?  (Write your answer on another sheet of paper.)

b. Click on “Grammar” – Unit 1 – Adjectives 1. Take the free basic quiz, and show me your score or take a screen shot when you have 100%.

c. Click on “Verb Drills” – Present Tense – (#4) Regular verbs. You can “Click to generate unique quiz” or review how to conjugate present tense verbs and then create a quiz. Include the vosotros form only if you’ve studied it before.

Show me your score when you have 100%, or take a screen shot to show me.

So… at this website you can see the homework assignment for the day you were absent, and practice, practice, practice your Spanish! Take advantage of this important resource!!!

Español 3-4 Combinado

1) Marqué crédito para la tarea – el cartel de “Lee todo sobre mí”.

**Entrégame  (Hand in) tu cartel.**

2) Hablamos mucho con un compañero sobre la información que pusimos en los carteles.

3) Repasamos las formas de los verbos básicos en el presente.

**Toma una copia – una hoja de color amarillo con “ser, estar, ir, etc.**

4) Fuimos al laboratorio de computadoras para repasar lo que más necesitamos repasar – el vocabulario o los verbos.

**Toma una copia de las instrucciones. Tienes que mandarme (send me) un reportaje. Habla conmigo si tienes preguntas.**

5) La tarea – mandarme un reportaje de tus prácticas en computadora. También estudia más.

6) **¡Ven después de las clases para hablar y ganar tus puntos!**
