1) We talked about the classroom rules and academic integrity.
**I will talk to you personally if you weren’t here. Also, students got their 5 late work passes for the semester. Ask for yours.**
2) I marked credit for the homework assignment – the definitions for the Lección Preliminar vocabulary.
**Show me your answers for credit.**
3) We reviewed the use of “un, una, unos, unas” and “el, la, los, las.”
4) We reviewed the forms of “ser,” the meanings of the adjectives you learned in Spanish 1, and how they change according to the subject.
Examples: Alejandro es alto; sus hermanas también son altas. No somos perezosos; la Sra. no es perezosa tampoco.

5) La tarea – the “Adjectives with ser” worksheet.
**Take a copy from the left, front folder. You need to do Activities 1, 2 and 3.**
6) Remember – our first quiz, over pp. 2-9, will be Thursday, August 21, so review, review, review!

1) Marqué crédito para la tarea – las definiciones para los verbos de Español 2.

2) Hablamos de las reglas de la clase.
**Toma una copia de ellas.**
3) Repasamos las diferencias entre saber/conocer y entre ser/estar. Mira las pp. 14-15 de tu libro.
4) Escuchamos información sobre 4 personas famosas en el mundo hispano – Juanes, Beatríz Ferrer-Salat, Alberto Medina, María Amparo Escandón. Lee las pp. 6-7 de tu libro.
5) Hablamos de varias personas, si las conocemos, y qué sabemos de ellos.
6) La tarea – el cartel “Lee todo sobre mí”
7) También los estudiantes recibieron la lista de vocabulario para la Lección preliminar. Así, pueden empezar a estudiar.
