Spanish 2

1) We learned the names of another section of our classmates.

2) We talked about the 3 elements needed for good communication – vocabulary, verbs (how they work), correct pronunciation.

3) PERIODS 1, 5, 6 – We went over class expectations and students got their 5 late passes for the semester.

**Take a copy of the expectations (goldenrod paper) from the left folders. Ask me for your passes. PERIOD 3 will get these in class on Monday.

4) We reviewed how to use “un, una, unos, unas” (a, some) and “el, la, los, las” (the). Be sure you know how to use these words.

5) Students received their vocabulary sheet for the first unit – Lección Preliminar – and we copied down the definitions for the first group of words on the sheet.

** Take a copy of the vocabulary list (yellow sheet) from the left folders.**

6) We added notes to the back of our yellow vocabulary sheets. Ask me or a classmate for the notes.

7) La tarea – Study the first group of words on your vocabulary sheet. Also, study the notes we added on the back. Our first quiz will be Thursday, August 23, 2012, over pages 2-9 in your textbook.

Español 3-4 Combinado

1) Aprendimos los nombres de la segunda parte de la clase.

2) Terminamos la tercera ronda del juego de vocabulario ¿Cuánto recuerdas?

3) Entrevistamos a nuestros compañeros de clase, utilizando las preguntas que escribimos el día anterior.

4) La tarea – Escribe un buen párrafo (8-10 oraciones) sobre el compañero de clase con quien hablaste. Incluye la información que aprendiste después de hacerle tus preguntas.
