1. We watched a short video about La Barraca in Madrid that specializes in paella.
2. We then discussed the Mexican holiday, 5 de mayo and then watched a 20 minute video that explained the meaning of this celebration. Sra. has your copy of questions and you should find the time to watch the video by May 11th (Final day to make up missing work).
3. Everyone learned how to make a flower in honor of the celebration!

REMEMBER: Next week you and classmates are going to be writing and presenting a skit to the class about ordering from a server in a restaurant. Be aware of all the different vocabulary, sentence structures and ways of ordering as we complete the different activities over the next few days.
4. We then watched the “Frugal Gourmet” as he prepared paella.
