Here are some links to good sites that discuss behavior in young kids:
Hand in Hand Parenting – The mission of Hand in Hand parenting is “to support parents and provide them with the insights and skills they need to listen to and connect with their children in a way that allows each child to thrive.” This link takes you to their “I need help with…” page. Here is a direct link to their article about handling aggression.
TACSEI (Technical Assistance Center on Social Emotional Intervention for Young Children) – Long name, but they have some great resources for parents and teachers. The link I posted takes you to the families page where you’ll find handouts in four categories: Addressing Behaviors (biting, whining, hitting/pushing, etc…), Emotions, Routines & Schedules, and Social Skills.
Positive Parenting: Toddlers and Beyond – This is a link to a facebook page. If you’re on facebook, this is a great page to “like” for little stories and reminders of how to use a positive parenting approach.
