Spanish 2
1) ¡Es viernes; we danced the “Hocky Pocky” in Spanish!
2) We changed seats and spoke Spanish for 10 minutes.
**Ask to see where you will sit for Unit 2.2, and come in after school to make up the 10 minutes of Spanish.**
3) We listened to the “presentación de vocabulario” on pp. 114-115. We have a lot of vocabulary for this unit, so start studying.
4) We went over the body parts side of our vocabulary list to make sure we understood what each picture represented. Also, we added the body parts vocabulary from the front side that were not written on the picture side – la garganta, la muñeca, el oído, la uña.
5) Students had time to work on the homework assignment – a 1/2-sheet to practice body parts vocabulary.
**Take a copy from the left, front folder. Do Activities 1 and 2. ALSO, add Activity 3 on the back. For Activity 3, you have to write 7-10 original T/F statements in Spanish, similar to the ones in Act. 1, but make them original. See p. R9 in the back of your book to help you say things like “below, on top of, etc.” Be sure to make an answer key for your statements. I recommend just folding over a flap of the worksheet and writing your answers there.**
6) We will continue speaking points next week, so you will need 7 points by Tuesday, November 24th.
Español 3-4 Combinado
1) ¡Bailamos el Hocky Pocky para celebrar el viernes!
2) Marqué crédito para la tarea – la hoja de práctica con los verbos irregulares en el presente del subjuntivo.
**Pon tus respuestas en la caja de “Tarea aquí”.**
3) Hablamos de cómo formar el presente del subjuntivo para los verbos que cambian de raíz.
**Mira la información en la p. 188, especialmente la parte de abajo.**
4) Vimos un video sobre Panamá (20 minutos) y escribimos apuntes sobre la información.
**Toma una copia de las preguntas y ven después de clases para ver el video.**
5) La tarea – Sigue estudiando vocabulario y gramática de la Unidad 3.2. (Los estudiantes que no estuvieron en la clase el jueves tienen que terminar el mapa y las preguntas culturales.)
