Spanish 2

1) PERIOD 5 ONLY – I marked credit for the homework assignment – the 1/2-sheet “¿Qué haces?”

**Put your assignment in the “Tarea aquí” box.**

2) We had a conversation with a partner about what s/he does – does s/he work, dance, read, listen to music, etc.? The idea is to be able to use the verbs we’re learning in a conversation, so you have to know the meanings of the verbs and be able to conjugate them correctly for clear communication.

3) We started to review stem-changing verbs. These verbs have a change in the “stem” or beginning part, in addition to the change in the endings.

**Ask to see the notes and copy them.**

4) We finished the questions about a typical day for Celia and Margarita. Then we read a Level 1 children’s book in Spanish (written for native Spanish-speakers!) to see if we could understand it.

5) La tarea – a half-sheet on stem-changing verbs to practice conjugation. Also, study the meanings of these verbs. (ONLY PERIODS 1 AND 4 GOT THIS SHEET. Periods 5 and 7 will get it on Friday.)
