1) We reviewed the Cinco de Mayo information from the video yesterday.
2) We reviewed 5.2 vocabulary.
3) We learned affirmative and negative words in Spanish and how they work a little differently in Spanish. (You can, and often must, have double negatives in Spanish.)
**Take copies of the information sheet and the practice worksheet from the left, front folder. (goldenrod 1/2-sheet and white “Did You Get It? Learn affirmative and negative words” sheet)**
4) We finished up the paella recipes we started on Friday and handed them in.
**Be sure that you and your partner finish this activity and turn in the recipe.**

2) Practicamos más el uso del subjuntivo en las situaciones hipotéticas.
3) Hablamos del uso del imperfecto del subjuntivo con las oraciones del pasado. Ejemplo:
Quiero que me ayudes. (presente, presente del subjuntivo)
Quería que me ayudaras (imperfecto, imperfecto del subjuntivo)
4) Repasamos las razones para usar el subjuntivo que ya aprendimos: UWEIRDO, ESCAPAA H, con lo que no existe, con lo desconocido.
5) La tarea – una media hoja de práctica con el imperfecto del subjuntivo con los verbos en el pasado.
