Spanish 2
1) We have a new seating chart. Ask to see where you sit.
2) We reactivated our Spanish and talked about what we did over break.
**For credit – write 5-7 things you did over break and put your sentences in the “Tarea aquí” box.**
3) We learned a new verb tense – el imperfecto (the imperfect), another past tense with several meanings. For now, we learned that we use the imperfect when we talk about what we used to do. See p. 203 for the forms and more information.
**Take copies of the blue imperfect verb chart and the white imperfect practice sheet from the left, front folders.**
4) We did a speaking activity with the imperfect, talking to a partner about what we used to do as a child. (Add these phrases to your verb chart: de niño/a, de pequeño/a, de chiquito/a – these all mean “as a child”; cuando era niño/a -when I was a child; cuando era joven – when I was young; cuando tenía ___ años – when I was ___ years old.)
5) La tarea – fill out the yellow 4.1 vocabulary sheet.
**Take a copy from the left, front folders.**
6) Students saw their 4.2 test results. Ask to see your test.
Español 3-4 Combinado
1) Hablamos de lo que hicimos en las vacaciones.
2) Repasamos el vocabulario de la Unidad 5.
3) Leímos por 20 minutos.
**Tienes que hacer esto. Para el lunes próximo, tienes que leer por un total de una hora. Puedes buscar libros y sacarlos de la clase; sólo te pido que escribas los títulos en una tarjeta blanca y que me des la tarjeta.**
4) La tarea – una hoja de repaso (La escalera de repaso) – sólo tienes que escribir la Parte B, y puedes hacer los nones o los pares (odds or evens)
5) Recuerda que nuestro examen sobre la Unidad 5 será el miércoles.
