1) We reviewed how to talk about how long we’ve been doing something as opposed to how long AGO we did something.
How long we’ve been doing something: Hace + time + que + verb in the present.
How long AGO we did something: Hace + time + que + verb in the preterite.
2) We finished the Telehistorias for this unit. Telehistoria #2 – p. 176, Telehistoria #3 – p. 181.
3) We reviewed the 5 U-Stem verbs in the preterite: estar, poder, poner, saber, tener
4) We started to work on an original conversation that you will present to me.
**We’ll go over the details in class again on Wednesday, and we’ll find someone you can work with. If you do write the dialogue by yourself, it won’t have to be as long.**
5) La tarea – Keep studying 3.2 vocabulary, U-Stem verbs in the preterite, and “¿Cuánto tiempo hace que…?” with the present and the past tenses.
6) Our 3.2 QUIZ will be Friday, February 7th!

1) Hablamos con un compañero para repasar la información sobre César Chávez.
2) Hablamos con el compañero sobre las investigaciones individuales que hicimos el lunes.
3) Hablamos del formato del examen sobre la Unidad 4.
4) Jugamos un juego para prepararnos para el examen.
5) La tarea – una hoja sobre el vocabulario de 4.2 y oraciones con certeza (no subjuntivo) o duda (subjuntivo).
**Toma una copia.**
6) Tendremos el Examen sobre la Unidad 4 el jueves, 6 de febrero, (tengamos o no tengamos clase el miércoles).
