1) I marked credit for the homework assignment – the map and the 1/2-sheet (yellow) of cultural questions in Spanish.
**Put your answers in the “Tarea aquí” box.**
2) We talked about an imaginary trip abroad that we’re taking. It does not have to be to a Spanish-speaking country, but it has to be outside the U.S.
3) We started Unidad 1, Lección 1 – ¡Vamos de viaje! (Let’s travel!)
**Take a copy of the green vocabulary sheet from the left, front folders. Fill in the left column.
4) La tarea – Study the left column of the vocabulary sheet. On Tuesday your partner will be checking to see if you did!
5) Students saw their Lección Preliminar TEST results and filled out TEST preparation information and GOALS for the 1.1 test.

1) Marqué crédito para la tarea – la hoja de práctica con el vocabulario de 1.2.
2) Leímos información sobre 2 de los héroes de la Independencia de México, porque hoy es su Día de Independencia.
3) Vimos un videoclip de “El Grito de Dolores”. Es una tradición que siguen en México.
4) Hablamos de lo que nos gusta/lo que hacemos, etc. cuando vamos a la playa.
5) Repasamos el vocabulario de la familia – el cuñado, el yerno, la nuera, etc.
6) La tarea – Estudiar el vocabulario de 1.2.
