The article Five Reasons to Use Wordle presents practical and useful ways to introduce this Web based application, Wordle, to your classroom.  But the thoughts and discussion of this article, apart from using Wordle in the classroom
(or at home for that matter!) are worth a read.

I have always taken the view that if you teach in a way that gets the kids excited, enthusiastic and educated (in a broad sense), the targets will look after themselves.” ~Terry Freedman.

So just in case you still aren’t interested, the five reasons presented include 1) summarizing, 2) self-reflecting, 3) assessment, 4) summarizing survey results 5) illustrating, or publishing student work.
