“Do not waste time bothering whether you “love” your neighbour; act as if you did. As soon as we do this we find one of the great secrets. When you are behaving as if you loved someone, you will presently come to love him. If you injure someone you dislike, you will find yourself disliking him more. If you do him a good turn, you will find yourself disliking him less…”
~C.S. Lewis
The focus in life is about people and relationships; it truly is what matters most in our day-to-day activities. Let’s face it, if we can’t enjoy the people around us, how much will we enjoy our life?
But what if we learn to embrace the “tasks” we dislike? I frequently hear how much people don’t like technology. What if we practiced or even “pretended” to like it..or a part of it…for a while. Could we in time learn to embrace it?
