to Lisa K Sauer’s Instructional Technology Coaching Website and Blog.  The purpose of this site is to provide an organized, systematic approach for elementary faculty and staff at Lincoln Public Schools to achieve both individual and building (site-based) professional and technology goals as reflected in the Bl@ts instrument available to LPS teachers.

If you would like to participate in Bl@ts, an instrument to “selflect” on your digital literacy and in return be given a custom blueprint for your future instructional technology development, click HERE for the login access page.

Beyond the technology goals of the Bl@ts instrument, you might also consider the educational research and standards regarding technology advances in education as discussed through various professional organizations and documentations that support instructional technology, such as 21st Century Learning, ISTE, Nebraska Standards, and beyond….

As an Instructional Technology Coach, I  envision a sustainable culture in which technology is applied to increase the academic performance of all learners; therefore, this website is designed to serve as a resource for promoting quality collaboration with school communities to carry out the mission of the LPS instructional  technology coaches to:

*Plan and deliver instruction to maximize student engagement
*Provide training and resources to improve teacher efficiency
*Advance and sustain digital competency

This site provides broad resources to serve all Lincoln Public Schools.  In addition, it also provides specific, detailed resources for the Title I LPS Elementary Schools assigned to me as an IT Coach.  Other coaches on the IT team who are serving to meet the needs of the LPS schools are Laura Bartels, Linda Dickeson, Tim Hahn, Dale Holt, Lynn Fuller, and Chris Pultz.

Hopefully you find this site to be a helpful resource as you work toward achieving your goals.  If you would like to contact me regarding a specific coaching need, please submit a help ticket or email me at lsauer@lps.org.
