We will spend August to November in this first unit. It is expansive and critical to the students understanding of our country. In this unit the students will be introduced to the Habits of Mind. They will practice these skill throughout the year.
8.1 is made up of four separate units:
- 8.1.1 Early Contact
- 8.1.2 The Slave trade and indentured servants
- 8.1.3 The American Revolution
- 8.1.4 Establishing a Government
