1) We reviewed what vejigantes are, the festival that they are part of, when and where this festival takes place, etc.
**Talk to me if you do not know the answers, because you will have questions about vejigantes on your 3.2 TEST.**
2) We watched a short videoclip about vejigantes and the tradition of mask making in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
3) We read about another Puerto Rican tradition – Las parrandas.
**Read the information on p. 180. You will have questions about “las parrandas” on your 3.2 TEST.**
4) We reviewed the preterite forms we should know automatically (regular -ar,-er,-ir verbs, U-stem verbs, ir, ser, dar, ver, hacer).
5) We took notes on the -ir stem changing verbs and how they change in the preterite.
**Take a copy of the 1/2-sheet for notes (yellow) from the left, front folder. Ask me or a classmate for the information you need to fill out the sheet.**
6) La tarea – Keep studying, especially preterite verb forms. Going online to the Conjuguemos website (#3 on my “Internet Resources” page) is a great way to practice.
