PERIOD 7 ONLY – See Monday’s lesson (2/24/14) and also take a copy of the -car, -gar, -zar worksheet from the left, front folders.**
1) We reviewed -car, -gar, -zar verbs in the preterite by doing Act. 7, p. 229. Be sure you know how to answer the questions.
2) We watched the 4.2 vocabulary presentation video to see how we’re doing on learning 4.2 vocabulary. You should know most of it by now.
3) We watched Telehistoria #1, p. 225, and then answered the questions in Act. 3, p. 226.
4) We started to learn how to understand and give directions on how to get to certain places.
**Take a copy of the half-sheet that says “¿Cómo llego a…?” (has a map and 6 sets of directions that you follow) Write in the answers and then write a set of original directions. Read the directions to me for credit.**
5) La tarea – a worksheet on -car, -gar, -zar verbs.
**Take a copy from the left, front folders.**
6) Our 4.2 QUIZ will be Thursday, February 27th, so keep studying 4.2 vocabulary and -car, -gar, -zar verbs.

1) Hablamos del formato del Examen 5.1.
2) Practicamos para la parte de escuchar.
3) Vimos las últimas 2 presentaciones sobre Alfredo Quiñones-Hinojosa y Jorge Ramos.
**Te recomiendo que las veas. Puedes venir después de las clases o te las puedo enviar.**
4) Fuimos al laboratorio de computadoras para practicar el vocabulario y la gramática de 5.1.
**Tienes que enviarme un reportaje de computadora. Toma una copia de las instrucciones.**
5) La tarea “opcional”: Acts. 2, 3, 4 en las páginas 294-295. Es la tarea opcional, pero si quieres tener la posibilidad de tomar ciertas secciones otra vez, es necesario que hagas estas actividades.
6) Nuestro Examen 5.1 será el miércoles (mañana), 26 de febrero.
