1) I marked credit for the homework assignment – the 1/2-sheet of definitions for 1.2 vocabulary.

2) We learned the special changes in the “yo” forms of “-car,-gar,-zar” verbs: -car verbs change c->qu only in the “yo” form (example: pescar: yo pesqué); -gar verbs change g->gu only in the “yo form (example: jugar: jugué); -zar verbs change z->c only in the “yo form (example: empezar: yo empecé)
3) We also learned the forms of the verb “ir” in the preterite. Add this to your pink verb chart: yo fui, tú fuiste, él/ella/Ud. fue, nosotros fuimos, ellos/ellas/Uds fueron.
4) We drew vacations scenes with at least 15 of our 1.2 vocabulary words.
