Spanish 2

1) We reviewed verb vocabulary.

2) We did a speaking activity – ¿Qué haces en… el estadio/la piscina/ la cafetería/ etc.? (What do you do at the…stadium/pool/cafeteria/etc.?) You should be able to think of many activities that you do at each place.

3) We added regular verb endings to our “El Presente” verb chart (yellow). Add this information: Los Verbos Regulares: -ar verbs – endings are o/as/a/amos/an; -er verbs – endings are o/es/e/emos/en; -ir verbs – endings are o/es/e/imos/en.

4) We did a written activity to practice using regular verbs when talking about a variety of people.

5) We listened to Carmen tell us about a typical day, and then we wrote in what she does at certain times.

**Take a copy of the 1/2-sheet with Carmen’s picture. Read pp. 22-23 to get an idea of what Carmen does. Then on the back (or below Carmen’s answers) make each sentence starter true for you. Example: B) A las 7 de la mañana… (como el desayuno). You might change B) to “A las 6 de la mañana como el desayuno” or you might say “A las 7 de la mañana voy a la clase de historia.” Again, make each sentence starter true for you.**

6) La tarea – Finish #5 and then do the 1/2-sheet that says ¿Qué haces? and has 3 activities. Change #3 by writing about your mother or father or a friend. Use the he/she form of each verb.

7) Students saw their results for Quiz 2. Period 3 will see their results on Wednesday.
