I am so excited for the new kindergarteners at Sheridan this year! Sheridan runs on a 4 day specials rotation, meaning I will get to see each class once every 4 days. This year in the art classroom, kindergarten we will be working on motor skills, learning art terms (line, color, value, etc), practicing how to share, learning how to use specific art tools, and learning how to give compliments to our classmates! Every few projects I will incorporate a video or children’s book with our art projects – – they get such great ideas from these resources! I love this age and am excited to meet all these new little people.
