Hello and welcome! My name is Lindy Gushard, and I am Sheridan Elementary’s new art teacher this year! I student taught at Sheridan last semester, and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the staff and students at Sheridan. What a wonderful place! I am so excited to be here. I grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska and attended Norris Public Schools. I am a recent graduate from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, and an endorsement to teach Art K-6. My hobbies include creating (especially regarding ceramics and painting), listening to music (Coldplay is my favorite band), gardening, and getting time with friends. I would describe myself as sincere, compassionate, extroverted, easy-going, and organized.
