GRADES
Grades are available online via LSW’s Pinnacle Online Grade & Attendance System.  Graded assignments will have a letter/percentage grade listed.  If it has a “Z” it is missing, an “X” means the assignment has been excused, and if it is blank that assignment has not been graded yet.

The District Office has mandated that all courses will have a grade book weighted as follows: 80% Summative Assignments & 20% Formative Assignments.  For this class it breaks down as follows:

FORMATIVE – Individual Daily Assignments –Worksheets, Notes, etc.
SUMMATIVE
– Term Final, Unit Tests, Quizzes, and any other assignment that is deemed to be                              more important than the traditional daily assignment.

The Term Final will account for approx. 20-25% of the Summative Points Total!
