  1. We talked about the weekend and what we did for a speaking point.
  2. We watched the Telehistoria #2 on p. 176 and then completed activity #9 on the top of p. 177.  You should do the same!
  3. To practice “hace + period of time + que + present tense verb,” students completed activity #3 on p. 189. Follow the instructions and complete this activity as well.  Use the answer key on transparency #31 in the claves folder.
  4. We worked on Nota Gramatical on p. 175 which is very similar to the “hace + etc.” but instead of the verb in the present tense, the verb is in the preterite tense and the meaning thus changes a bit. Be sure to reads this Nota Gramatical. Students then wrote the questions only in Activity #8.  Follow the modelo and what is inside ‘Bubble A’ in the instructions.  Here’s what you should write on your paper for
    #1. estar en el cine           ¿Cuánto tiempo hace que estuviste en el cine?

  2. Complete Activity #8 (Questions only!!!), p. 175.
  3. Read Comparación Cultural on p. 174 and then write out the entire paragraph under it using the verbs provided.
