3. Sra. explained how tomorrow’s 5.2 quiz would be set up:
a. 10 sentences with a vocabulary word missing; multiple choice answers.
b. Formation of Ud. and Uds. commands. Be sure you know how to form the Ud. AND the Uds. commands, including the irregular verbs (SIDES)
modelo: ¡_________ (hablar) Ud. español! You would write hable on the line.
modelo: ¡_________ (ser) Uds. simpáticos! you would write sean on the line.
c. Answer questions using the Uds. command form of the verb,
modelo: ¿Dónde pedimos pizza sabrosísima? You would answer: Pidan la pizza en (Pizza Hut, Valentinos, ets.) Remember…”pedimos” is from the verb “pedir” and the “yo” form in the resent tense is “pido.” Drop the “o” and add the opposite ending…thus, Pidan.
4. We read about tapason p. 266 and then watched a short video and completed a 1/2 WS of questions. YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE THIS UP!
