School Improvement Process Committee

Agenda:

1. Summer Training

SIP/PLC June 5 at Schoo Middle School, 8-4:30

Admin + Coordinator + 4 teachers

2. Summer Meeting date(s)

Purposes= To review student achievement data to formulate school wide goals. To plan SIP training for all teacher teams for data team process—August meeting days and beyond.

June 11, 2014 at 8:30 in staff room

 

3. Review PLC data team process roles (Alicia, Kristin C., AB, WB)

Discussion of roles and responsibilities of PLC data team members (facilitator, record keeper, strategy manager) and the when/where to offer training for each team’s roles. Will be for building flex.

 

4. Create end of year summary for SIP (see reminder below from Dr. Scott)

Discussion held of growth in reading and math this year by grade level. Kristin C. is “word smithing” and will have draft for June 11 meeting.

 

School-wide Goal Reflection – May Work for the School Improvement Team

Please remember that the 2013-2014 School-wide Goal form requires you to reflect on your progress with your goals and the success of your strategies.   I know that not all of your data is in but this is a good time to begin to reflect on the results you have and the effectiveness and the challenges of the strategies you implemented. Also, remember that there is also an “End of the Year Summary Narrative” to complete. This is to be a brief, concise statement answering:

  • Where did we start?
  • What did we do?
  • What results did we get?
  • Where will we start next year and why?
