2014 Youth Art Month Celebration

The State Capitol Youth Art Month Celebration will feature a K-12 art exhibition.   Randolph students Jaelyn Kelly and Tristan Amos will be recognized during the reception and ceremony at the State Capitol on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 2 P.M. The ceremony takes place on the second floor of the state capitol building.

We will also have a virtual Youth Art Month gallery with Artsonia. Artsonia is a very secure on-line gallery site and students will have the opportunity to use either their first name or an alias to protect their identity.

Each K-12 Nebraska art educator may submit only two works of art from two different students. Students, parents, family, and friends will have the opportunity to view, leave messages, or purchase items imprinted with the student’s artwork through Artsonia.  All proceeds from sales on the NATA (Nebraska Art Teachers Association) Artsonia Gallery will benefit the NATA YAM exhibits.  Educators are also encouraged to have their own Artsonia gallery:  http://www.artsonia.com/
