Les Regles de la classe de Madame DIMON

Madame DIMON’S rules:

LES REGLES DE LA CLASSE DE FRANÇAIS
AVEC MADAME DIMON, LYCEE DE SUDEST.

Be in class and on time.  Tardies are noted on the Synergy attendance system, and will be dealt with accordingly.

Inform yourself of any work missed and finish it promptly after any absence.
Check synergy to see what you are missing: Z equals a zero that is the result of a missed class-this will be changed to a grade when it is made up.   0 equals an assignment that was not done, even if student was in class, and cannot be made up, unless there are circumstances which the student can discuss privately with me, after school.
YOU MUST MAKE UP ALL QUIZZES, TESTS AND ORAL POINTS. Set up an appointment to do this with Madame Dimon within 3 days of missed evaluations.
Bring your materials to class.
Bring a notebook to class EVERY DAY. Also bring something to write with-pencil, blue or black pens-no exotic colors. Textbooks for French 3: There is a class set in class, but every student has checked out a text and it should be at home.  Homework is due at the BEGINNING of class. Late work will receive credit reduction.

DO NOT bring anything to eat or drink to class unless previously arranged.

DO NOT do any work for another class.

DO NOT BRING PROHIBITED ELECTRONIC DEVICES to French class-these are not to be used, seen or heard in the course of the class-or they will be confiscated.

Absolutely no plagiarism* or use of language translators is allowed.  You may use an on-line dictionary to find individual words, but not entire sentences or paragraphs.

*PLAGIARISM OCCURS WHEN A WRITER DELIBERATELY USES SOMEONE ELSE’S LANGUAGE, IDEAS, OR OTHER ORIGINAL MATERIAL WITHOUT ACKNOWLEDGING ITS SOURCE (Council of Writing Program Administrators)
