Objective: By the end of the block the students will be able to correctly use the new vocabulary in sentences describing travel preparation.
Practice new vocab from pg 55
1. Warm up: Student will complete at desk p 38 parte 1
Place the vocab phrase under “before the flight leaves” or “after the flight arrives”
Students will be randomly called on to check answers or thumbs up/down
2. Watch intro video of vocabulario introduction – pause for english translation from class
3. Practice vocab with partner – Bingo and/or magic squares
4. In 3 groups take 12 phrase cards and place them in chronological order on the white board with magnets for preparing and taking a trip (add dar (doy,das, da, damos, dan) to pink present tense chart)
5. Independent learning/homework – Students will take the phrases from the white board and write them into a paragraph creating a story about trip preparation.
(student will write a postcard to a friend describing a trip and the procedures at the airport. These sentences will be developed into a comic life project the following day.)
