As part of our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports program (PBIS), we are implementing a new second level intervention for students at Mickle Middle School.

Purpose of the intervention:

• Primary goal is to learn independent skills and monitor academic and positive social behaviors

Expectations for daily participation:

• Check-in
• Get teacher feedback
• Check-out
• Reinforcement system
• Home summary note

Reviewing the daily progress report:

• Focus on positive

• Focus on the fact that the primary goal is to learn independent skills and monitor academic and positive social behaviors

Providing additional reinforcement at home for meeting daily goal:

• No negative consequences for failing to meet daily point goal
