Start of class

• Period 1: Go to your assigned room to watch the Park News
  • Mr. Black –  activity room
  • Mr. Christensen – fitness room
  • 8th grad classes – room 147
• Period 1 – sit quietly and watch the Park News. After news, go to attendance numbers..
• Period 2 – 7: Does not watch the Park News, students will go straight to their attendance numbers once they enter the gym.

Locker Room

• Go straight to your locker. Don’t waste time walking around.
• Get dressed and sit down. Tie your shoes and wear proper PE clothing.
• Lock all your belongings in your PE locker.
• Sit quietly, wait for the teacher to dismiss students to the gym.
• Students have 5 minutes to get dressed or will be marked tardy

Warm-up

• Go to your attendance number and sit down.
  
• When all students are in the gym – go to warm up station.
• Warm up
• Your teacher will describe the activity for the day.

Activity

• Give your best effort with activity.
• Use all equipment properly as instructed.
• When the teacher blows the whistle stop the activity and listen for instructions.

Closure

• At the end of class put your equipment away. Then listen for instructions.
• When dismissed by your teacher, walk to the wall outside the locker room.

Locker Room

• Wait at the wall until the PE teacher escorts the class to the locker room.
• Get dressed and sit down.
• Wait for the bell to ring before leaving class.

Behavior

• Follow the directions of all PE teachers.
• When the PE teacher is talking, students should not be talking, listen to the teacher.
• Treat all students and adults with respect.
• Use school appropriate language, no profanity, or discriminating words
