About Mr. Black

Mr. Black teaches 6th / 7th grade PE and 8th grade health at Park Middle School. He has been teaching at Park Middle School since 1993.  While teaching at Park Middle School, he has coached the following Park intramural teams: football, cross country, basketball, and track and field. In addition to coaching Park intramural teams – he has coached cross country, track and field, and pole vault for Lincoln Public Schools. Mr. Black received his Associate’s degree from Mt. San Antonio College, his Bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University and his Master’s degree from Azusa Pacific College. While attending college he competed in track and cross country – breaking 3 school records at Mt. San Antonio College. Mr. Black is married and has two daughters. With his free time, he enjoys lifting weights, yoga, watching college football, working with his dogs, gardening, traveling, and selling real estate. You may also see Mr. Black out riding his bike. He races his bike in the following type of races: road race, time trial, gravel, mountain bike, and cyclocross.
