Weekly Update 2/16/16

Good evening!
Last week we were very busy with exciting visitors and even a field trip! This week we have another field trip to the Lied Center to hear the Lincoln Symphony Orchestra!  We will be going Wednesday afternoon right after lunch and should return to school about 2:30. Our class has worked hard and earned another class reward. This time the students voted for a pajama day. Mr. Nelson has given the okay and congratulates us on our hard work. Students can wear pajamas to school on Thursday, Feb 18th. There should be no slippers. The pajamas should still follow our other dress code rules at Lakeview. I would recommend sending a sweat shirt or jacket along too because our classroom can by chilly at times and pajamas are sometimes more thin.
Here are the weekly objectives:
Math
We will continue learning about Fractions this week. This will include equivalent fractions and fractions in simplest form. There will be homework on Wednesday even though we have a field trip.
