Hello fellow Stars!

Lots going on in the world of 4th & 5th grade. Clay construction wrapped up as we headed off to celebrate Thanksgiving and as we return to school we make our way to the Sheldon Art Museum!

This week, we will be gearing up in the Art Classroom for this fantastic field trip. On Friday, we will be heading over to see and experience pieces of the Sheldon’s permanent collection, as well as explore some architecture and learn some new ways to think about art.

If you would like to visit the Sheldon, please take an opportunity to do so. Admission is FREE! Sheldon has a wonderful permanent collection that rotates regularly and is peppered with pieces from traveling collections and exhibitions. Sheldon also participates in First Fridays, where doors are open after hours for an evening of art, as well as a live music performance (usually). It’s a great way to bring home the art work and a fantastic family evening out for FREE!

To learn more about the Sheldon, it’s hours and special events (like the First Friday Reception), please visit http://www.sheldonartmuseum.org/.

Looking forward to our visit on the gallery! 🙂
