My journey to teaching has been a roundabout one.  After graduating from Shickley High School, I attended Hesston College in Hesston, KS.  After graduating with an Associate’s Degree in 2002, I worked as a volunteer in Colorado for several years.  I spent part of my time at an elementary school and decided to become a teacher.  I graduated from Doane College in 2006, and completed my Master’s Degree from Doane in 2008!  I have been teaching in Lincoln for six years, and am excited to start a new year.

I love reading, sewing, and going to movies.  I also like to eat anything yummy, especially caramel rolls (my mom makes the best) and key lime pie.
