After several weeks of work, our podcasts are finished! Each student on our team selected a story or two or more poems that they have written this year, and recorded them using the program Garage Band. They then added music, and sound effects also if they were relevant to the writing. To listen and subcribe to the podcast stream, click here. You may also click on the “Podcasts” tab above.
The picture below shows a typical scene when the students are busy at work using Pound’s laptop computers. While this picture was taken during a different project, the scene of “podcast creation” was much the same, only including special microphone headsets, and some students recording in the hallway for less sound interference from others.
