This course is based on science standards and emphasizes science inquiry. Topics include:
- Earth’s Changing Surface (land forms and destructive forces)
- Electricity and Magnetism (electrical changes, energy sources, and safety)
- Human Biology (skeletal, muscular, digestive, excretory, and nervous systems)
- Weather and Climate (atmosphere, weather patterns, and climate)
Students will be expected to:
- read the material assigned
- take notes about the reading
- participate in class discussions
- actively engage in classroom activities.
