Husker Spring Game

On Saturday, April 11 at the Memorial Stadium, the Husker Spring Game took place. The Hail Varsity staff offers three final takeaways from the Red’s 24-15 win over the White in front of 76,881 at Memorial Stadium.
It was a chance to see Mike Riley on the field. During a press conference Mike Riley said the spring game format was doing it the “right way”. He said that he like to give the team an opportunity to take a hit, and satisfied him. During the spring game they talked about the Drug Free Pledge.
All tickets for the Red-White Spring Game are reserved and cost $10 each. All individuals must have a ticket for the game. Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early to ensure good seats as demand is expected to be high. Each of the past several years, more than 20,000 tickets were sold by the end of the first day of sales. Nebraska has drawn more than 54,000 fans for every Red-White game over the past decade.
