O (Opener): Students participated in SSPR.  Students completed either a literal, inferential, or critical post.

ML (Mini-Lesson): Students practiced WOW 3 by answering vocabulary relationship questions seen in Boy21.

C (Core Lesson): Ms. A read aloud Chapters 22-23 in Boy 21, while students followed along.  As an exit ticket, students completed a close reading where they found a signpost or connection and an explanation on how that helps them understand the text better.
