Hello, everyone! My name is Allyssa Allaire and this is my first year teaching! I graduated from Southwest High School (Don’t worry though, I am a Knight at heart).  I then started my college career at Southeast Community College and graduated with a bachelors degree at Nebraska Wesleyan University in May of 2015.  This year I will be teaching Reading Investigations and Reading Ideas. I am also the co-advisor for yearbook.

I have lived in Nebraska since 2002, but I often travel to my childhood home in sunny state California.  While I am there I love to visit family, go to the beach, and of course go to Disneyland! At home I spend most of my time with my long time boyfriend, Boris, go to the theater (Yay for $5 Tuesdays), and hang around the house with my blue merle sheltie (Jake).

I can’t wait to meet each of you and I am looking forward to what the 2015-2016 school year has in-store for us!
