  Administrators, Secretaries and Special Education Coordinators,

  In preparation for the move to the Zimbra environment, Computing Services needs a thorough understanding of how your building/dept uses resource calendars. In order to account for each resource calendar across the district, we are asking you to fill out a form (link below) for EACH resource calendar used by your bldg/dept/group.   If your bldg/dept does not use resource/meeting calendars on our current calendar system, then this may not apply to you.

  What ‘qualifies’ as a resource calendar?
  Resource calendars are used for things like making room reservations and scheduling IEP meetings. They are not personal/professional use calendars but may possibly be set up by an individual under their LPS account (ex: zsmith: IEP Meetings). That type of calendar should be included.

  Special Education Coordinators
  If you have set up your own IEP calendar as a part of your personal account, please complete the form for that calendar as well so that we can get you set up with a proper IEP calendar in Zimbra.

  ** If you already use the Resource Reservation System (RRS) to book labs, projectors, etc. you will continue to use that system for those things.

  If you do use this type of calendar on our current calendar system, please access the link below as soon as possible so that we can assess needs. You will receive additional communications regarding next steps for your resource calendar(s) in the near future. Email kristi@lps.org (subject: “Resource Calendars”) if you have any questions.
