- Next week is Teen Read Week. Everyday next week we will read a bar code number that could be the number printed on a book you have checked out. If we read your number, you’ll win a prize! Also stay tuned for a video of Schoo students, staff, and administrators telling you what they like to read.
- The Science Quiz Bowl Club will meet today from 3 to 4 in room 226. See you there!
- Teen Trek Night at the Belmont Recreation Center is hosting a Volleyball Tournament on Friday, October 15, 2010 from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Grades 6 to 8 are welcome and Girls, Boys, or Co-ed teams are welcome to compete. No registration is required. Students must have a school ID or Report Card for admission, and don’t forget your tennis shoes!
- Congratulations to two 6th grade athletes–Calista Best was voted MVP in her softball tournament last weekend and Caleb Brown’s soccer team placed first in the nation and Caleb was selected as the teams MVP. Way to go!!!
- Picture Retake Day is today! If you were absent on the original Picture Day, you will receive a pass to have your photograph taken. If you are planning to have your photographs retaken, you must bring your original photos to the photographer.
