    • Team 8B is starting a homework club!  The club starts today and will run every Monday through Thursday from 3 to 4.  This club is for students in need of extra help to complete homework or class work.  The club will meet in room 224.
    • The Science Quiz Bowl Team will meet this Thursday, December 2nd, from 3 to 4 in room 226.

    • There will be no girls basketball practice today.

    • Wednesday, November 24th is no school for elementary ONLY. Schoo middle school will be in session for the full day.

    • Students who wish to have a boarding pass to ride the bus must be a current bus rider.  If you are not a bus rider, you will not be given a boarding pass.  For bus riders who need to ride a different bus, you must bring a written note from home to the office in the morning.  Requests at the end of the day will not be approved.

    • Congratulations to Abby Dodge, Brett Gose and Jake Santos; last week’s Academic Connections Students of the Week.  These students were selected for displaying outstanding character in their ACES classes.

    • Mrs. Kluck-Spann’s friendship groups meet today. The boy friendship group will meet 2nd period, girl group # 2 will meet 1st period, and girl group # 1 will meet during 7th period.
    • The 8th grade girls will play Goodrich at Dawes this weekend at Schoo.  Schoo’s 8th grade A girls will play Goodrich at Dawes A team at 8:30. Our 8th grade B and C teams will scrimmage at 9:30.

      The 7th grade girls will play two games on Saturday.  The Schoo 7th grade teams will be combined again this week to play a game at 8:30 against Goodrich A team, and another game at 9:30 against Goodrich B team.

    • Teen Treks at the Belmont Recreation Center is hosting movie night tonight, from 7:00 to 9:30 pm. The Movie will begin at 7:30pm sharp! Popcorn is provided, but make sure to bring money for pop and your school IDs.

    • The after school student meeting for Fuel up to Play 60 is today from 3 to 4:15 in the multi-purpose room.   Come and choose “plays” to improve exercise and nutrition here at Schoo!

    • The School Community Intervention Program (SCIP) of Lincoln Medical Education Partnership is presenting a forum on the dangerous, but legal, substance known as K-2 on Monday, November 15, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.  The forum will be held at Lincoln North Star High School, 5801 N. 33rd Street, in the commons area just inside the main entrance to the school.  The forum is open to the community and is free of charge. For more information on the School Community Intervention Program, visit their website at http://www.lmep.com or call 402.483.4581, ext. 277.
