    • Student Council will be hosting dances on the following dates:  6th grade will be on Tuesday, 7th grade will be on Wednesday, and 8th grade will be on Thursday.  Dances will be after school from 3:00-4:10.  Tickets will be sold for $1.00 at lunch on the day before and the day of each grade-level dance.  Last-minute ticket sales will be in the chorus room immediately after school.  Soda and pizza will also be sold for $1.00 each at the dance.
    • Everyone is invited to dress up for Student Council’s Spirit Week, May 3-7.  Tuesday’s theme is “Sports Day,” Wednesday’s theme is “Red Carpet Day,” and Thursday’s theme is “Sweats Day.”  All clothing must adhere to the Schoo student dress code.
    • Congrats to Hayley Seacrest and Jody Vuong, this week’s acadmeic connections students of the week. These students were selected for displaying outstanding character traits in their academic connections classes.

    • Bring your boxtops and soup labels for Schoo Middle School.  Take them to your first period teachers and they will be collected at the end of April.  Earn a prize for your classroom — bring the most!

    • Information about detasseling job opportunities for students is now available in the main office.
    • The Lincoln Public Schools will be offering a Summer Technology Program to provide upper elementary and middle school students an opportunity to explore their interest in computers and technology. One week courses will be offered for students entering 5th through 9th grade in the fall of 2010.  Registration begins on Monday, May 3, 2010.
